Tips
- The board is oriented for White at the bottom: a1 is a dark square in the bottom-left, h1 a light square in the bottom-right.
- Print on card stock (or laminate a paper copy) if you want a board that survives repeated classroom use; coins or draughts pieces work fine as chess pieces in a pinch.
- It also works as a marking-up diagram: print a stack and draw arrows and squares on them when teaching.
- Setting up real pieces? Use the board setup diagram and the pieces sheet.
