Corrections at LibreChess
LibreChess corrects material errors in the maintained page or release record. This page records whether a public submission destination exists and the evidence that would make a future correction useful.
Where to send it
No public correction intake is currently offered. LibreChess does not publish a monitored correction email or issue form, so reports cannot be submitted through the site at present. This page does not present a private repository or placeholder address as a working submission route.
What to include
- The exact LibreChess URL or downloadable file name.
- The specific sentence, move, diagram, checksum, source link or behaviour that appears wrong.
- What you expected instead and why.
- The strongest available evidence: a FEN, legal continuation, PGN, regulation section, upstream source, browser/version, or reproducible steps.
- Whether the issue could expose private data or create a security risk. Do not publish secrets or another person’s private information in a public issue form.

What happens next
A material error is corrected in the maintained page, dataset or provenance record. An article’s modification date changes when its main advice or analysis changes. Generated notices, engine checksums and data hashes are updated only alongside the underlying release input.
A legal position or successful build check does not by itself prove that an explanation is correct. If a claim cannot be verified, it is qualified or removed rather than left as certainty.
