Free Chess Tools

The tools here are free and need no account. Interactive chess data is processed on your device. Stockfish runs in the browser, so there is no server-side analysis quota; search speed and depth still depend on the device, browser and time allowed.

Local processing and offline limits

LibreChess compiles the engine to WebAssembly and runs it on your own device. There is no account tier or server-side review quota, and the PGNs and FENs you enter are not uploaded for analysis. Core app files are cached after loading and the engine after its first successful use, so the interactive app can continue offline; the complete static article library is not precached.
